Free Cloud Storage

Just found out about Shared.com -- It offers free cloud storage up to 100 GB for free, with a simple layout and cloud security. You are able to share your files, but your files are otherwise private and kept from the public.

I would definitely recommend checking it out. Microsoft's SkyDrive only gives you 5 GB (well I get about 7 GB), Google Drive gives you 15 GB worth of space, and DropBox is too dependent on your social network for free storage. Shared.com's free 100 GB for sure is hard to beat.

I somehow find DropBox to be very time-consuming, especially on portable devices. I will give this a try. Personally, I prefer hard disks. So comfortable, portable, and can store a lot of space.

I do too, but I often times find myself without one on me. This should be a great backup when you need it.

You do need an Internet connection to access the account, right?

Yes, that is why it is called "cloud storage", hehe
