New map project - Core_ravage

The next in the core series, this one's metal-themed with the lunaran texture set. It's still incomplete but will be done in a month. Anyone interested in giving playtest/pointers to it sometime?


Here's the .cfg I made for it so far.. Just save this in notepad as core_ravage.txt in packages/base and change the extension to .cfg. You'll get the map off of me.

ok, i do not know how to use this....information.... but it is descrbed to look cool, i hope this is better than core_transfer..,. no offense... my least favorite map.... i wish i could be as good as editors as u 2....Sad

A core_transfer hater? I officially boot you out of pWn Clan.

Heh, but yeah Strider if you look in the packages/base folder in Sauerbraten there are a bunch of .OGZ and .CFG files. The .cfg can be opened in a plain text editor and through it you can change (configure) whatever things will be in the map it is intended for. Mine's mostly for the various textures that will be included in it, but also it changes the skybox, fogcolor, etc.

As said, I'll have most of it developed within a month so keep an eye on Quadropolis and here for updates.

Go to the 'new content' tab at the top left for new maps, skyboxes, etc. New mods/scripts is for other stuff.

As for searching for a specific node, I've never figured it out.. I usually google the name of the map Razz
